THE ROLE
You'll be the clinical voice inside every engagement — the person who tells the engineers when a workflow that looks elegant on a whiteboard will fail at 3am on a Tuesday in a med-surg unit. This is a translation role and a quality role. You're advising healthcare AI builds, reviewing clinical content for accuracy and safety, and embedding inside client teams during discovery and rollout. Active RN license required. Bedside experience required. Curiosity about technology required. Patience for non-clinical people learning clinical reality, also required.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Review AI features for clinical accuracy, safety, and workflow fit before they go anywhere near a clinician
- Embed with client clinical teams during discovery — interview, observe, document what the work actually looks like
- Translate clinical complexity into operational requirements an engineering team can ship
- Build clinical content libraries — clinical decision support content, protocol references, training materials — that scale across client engagements
- Co-design evaluation frameworks with engineering: how do we know the AI got it right? How would a senior nurse decide?
- Surface the workflow constraints that get missed in standard discovery — credentialing, scope of practice, charge capture, handoff dynamics
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
- Active RN license. Minimum 5 years bedside or floor experience. Acute care or critical care preferred
- Genuine curiosity about how technology and clinical work fit together — you've used the EHRs, the dashboards, the systems, and you have opinions about all of them
- Strong written communication. Your discovery notes need to be the source of truth for a multi-disciplinary team
- Comfort being the one clinical voice in a room full of engineers and operators
- Bonus: informatics background, EHR build experience, prior consulting, multi-state license portfolio
HOW TO APPLY
Send a résumé and a short note (3–5 sentences is plenty) about a problem you've solved that sounded easy on paper and turned out to be hard.
